It's funny how things can be crystal clear/Things never spoken/Things you feel but never hear/And it's even funnier how those tend to be the things/That you wish would go away/Because they only bring you pain/I often wondered why we had the feelings that we did/But just to look into yours eyes told me that it wasn't just "my secret"./It was yours, too/Something that I guess we shared/That we failed to acknoledge until our souls were bared/And now here we are faced with the present situation/You can... but I can't... and WE couldn't... face it/But I don't want to accept that... not even as temporary truth/But at this point in my life there's nothing else that I can do/So I guess we just go on living as though everything is fine/I guess we go on... proliferating this lie/
