i have been a big fan of Aaliyah for a long time, i am still having a hard time accepting the fact that our baby girl has crossed over. aaliyah's music is what kept me going, it has really helped me through many things. without aaliyah's music i don't think i could live.

i know... when i first found out about aaliyah i was just like    , i was in shock because i had a close cousin of mine pass away in a car accident just a few months before that, i was just feeling horrible, without aaliyah's music, i don't know how i could have gotten through all of that stuff that has happened in my life. Aaliyah has helped many people with many different situations, if u see the poll at the index page u'll see that they all relate to different albums, with different songs, u know? still can't believe she's gone... |

Same here! I didn't know others had been affected as much as me... I can realte to all of your posts. Aaliyah has helped me soo much with her music, If I am feeling down, just put on the track TRY AGAIN, and everything is fine... Aaliyah is an angel, god took away an angel. Aaliyah I can't believe she is gone... She makes me happy when she was with us, now she makes me cry out of saddness, but I know she is in a better place, watching down on us, being our guardian angel... She is so...there is no word for it, no word for how great she was, as a person, as a singer, actor, everything... |

[ WELL ITS LIKE THIS I AM A CAPRICORN I RELATED WHOLEHEARTEDLY WITH AALIYAHS WORK ETHIC. SUCCESS WAS HER FUEL IN LIFE. IT KEPT LIFE INTERESTING AND WITH EACH ACCOMPLISHMENT SHE MADE A NEW CHALLENGE WAS PRESENTED. ITS THE NATURE OF THE CAPRICORN TO WANT TO SUCCEED. THE DAY SHE DIED SHE WAS DOING NOTHING MORE THAN THAT. I MISS HER LIKE THE EARTH MISSES RAIN AFTER A LONG DROUGHT. SOMETIMES IM HAPPY TO BE ALIVE OTHER DAYS I WISH I WERE NEVER BORN TO KNOW SUCH PAIN OF LOSING THE ONES YOU LOVE, THE THINGS YOU CHERISH. MAN THE PAIN RUNS SO DEEP, PAIN THATS SOMETIMES MORE DEEP THAN THE OCEANS OF THE EARTH. IVE HAD SO MUCH TAKEN FROM ME. AND YES LIKE AALIYAH IVE HAD IT ALL AND LOST IT ALL IN ONE BREATH. ITS A TEARFUL AND DREARY REVELATION TO HAVE TO ACCEPT AND RECOGNIZE ALL THAT. IN LIFE PEOPLE NEED TO WAKE UP AND STOP INFLICTING PAIN AS THOUGH ITS SOME SORT OF WAY TO GAIN STRENGTH. PAIN IS NOT A GOOD THING AND IT DOESNT MAKE PEOPLE STRONGER. GOD DOES. AND WITH THAT I STILL WISH I WERE NEVER BORN TO KNOW SUCH PAIN. YES IM HAPPY TO KNOW GOD. BUT WHEN I SEE THE WORLD IN ALL ITS PAIN, WITH ALL ITS FAULTS I SEE WHAT SHOULDVE BEEN AND WHAT IS NOT. I HOPE TO GODS NAME THAT THERE IS A PLACE WHERE I CAN REST MY HEAD WITHOUT SORROW AND PAIN. THATS THE ONLY WAY ILL BELIEVE THAT LIFE WAS EVER WORTH IT. EVERYDAY ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS LOVE, ADMIRE, TRUST, AND GIVE 100 PERCENT BUT THEN ALL THAT WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM ME BECAUSE I DID GIVE THOSE THINGS BUT THEY WERENT GIVEN BACK.
