They were in the magazines, blew-up on the internet or got spread word-of-mouth but they all are 100% Ridiculous, anyway post your favorites. I'll start...
Her Lazy Eye, back in high school I had pics of her on my notebook and this girl told me "I'm glad she got her eye fixed, blah, blah..." I was like WTF?
Plastic Surgery, I've only heard this one on the net but some ppl think she had a nose-job.
She was a Lesbian?, Some "kids" thought that since she danced with women kinda seductively in "Rock The Boat" that she was sending a "hidden" message about herself, 100% bull.
Aaliyah cut Timbaland from her music career, after ppl found out she wasn't recording the majority of her new album with him.
I'm not sure if this fits as a rumour but for some strange reason, ppl would ask me...
is her hair was real? Considering that I never touched her hair or even met her, I had no choice but to say, "Yes, it's real! now don't ask me about it again. lol...

Yeah, I heard the lazy eye one (who hasn't?), the plastic surgery (who knows if she had a nose job, and quite frankly WHO CARES!), the lesbian one (not true, but again, who cares!), and the Timbaland one.
I've heard the rumour that she secretly had a kid (LMAO!), that she had an affair with Jay-Z, that she slept with some basketball player...I can't remember who....but he started it but saying it on some radio station, that she had a huge fight with Missy and that is why the only song Missy contributed to "Aaliyah" was IC4U (which was recorded during the OIAM sessions), that she had broken up with Damon Dash right before she died,and so many more! lol

yeah i heard her and missy had a lil sumthin sumthin goin on  That she was pregnant when she died.. the one about her and R.Kelly Getting married (i think everyones heard that) there are so many of them...  |

those r some crazy rumors...
However I was looking at the "One in a million" cd cover and pics, and the age aint nothing album cover ..and than looking at the pics in the I care 4 u disc, and Aaliyahs nose is considerably more narrow and smaller at the bottom in the I care 4 u pics, than her 1st 2 disc pics...Also her nostrils are narrow and smaller in recent pics than the back when ones...I know she lost weight and matured in her face as years go by, but I don't think there is anyway it could have changed that much without surgery.
Im not saying anything bad about that, but it was just something I noticed this morning thats all.

Hi I'm a newbie!  The rumour that bothered me the most was the pregnancy rumour. The person who started that rumour should have been prosecuted. It was a crime against her parents during their most fragile state and a crime against baby girl herself. When her message board was up and running I was a member there. I would get so pissed at some of the immature people who would post those nasty rumours about her. People will do anything for attention and they do not have a care in the world about who they hurt in the process. |
