In my sociology textbook, there is an example of a sociological question that goes something like this: "Why do African Americans say hi to other African Americans on campus that they don't even know?"
Do you guys think this is true (does this happen a lot?) or not? I'm not sure...I was confused when I read it (and kind of offended because I'm white and I say hi to people...no matter what race lol). What do you think?
