no offense but to me gay marriages aint right thats why men and women were created differently. i dont got anything against people who are gay cuz thats just how they are and that doesnt make them any different. i just dont think the marriage thing is right Well they are going to get married whether its right to you or not. There are places they can go to get married, and they will, even if it means they have to take a 15 hour flight. Yeah obviously men and women are created differently, for each other, but you know as well as me, people are born gay and they can't help the way they are. Would you be against lesbian marriages? So do you think they shouldn't have a lifetime of happiness with someone just because they can't help how they are?? |

well people obviously werent created to be gay and i accept the fact that they were born that way it it isnt their fault n i got nothin against gays but i just dont think getting married should be legal b/c it just makes it seem like being gay is OKAY n some straight people who have problems with their relationship might decide to go gay b/c they think its okay im not saying it aint okay b/c its okay with me but if they werent born gay they shouldnt go gay. to me if they legalize gay marriages its like encouraging people to become gay when they really arent. and as for the lesbian marriages thing-i got the same opinion for that as well

If they are straight, and they know they are, why would they go "gay" because its looked at as "okay" A lot of gay people pretend to be straight because they are afraid cuz so many people don't think its okay. So if being gay is okay, and that enourages straight people to be gay, since straight marriages are okay and in tons of places gay marriages aren't, isn't that pressuring gay people to be straight then, because that is okay and gay marriages isn't?? I think everyone should have the open option of marrying the one they love. Times have changed. People have changed. A lot of things have changed. Its the way of life, and as a part of that, gay people shouldn't have to be alone for the rest of their life because it isn't "okay" to be that way. I think everyone should be treated the same as everyone else when it comes to marriage. I hope gay marriages become legalized, because its cruel and unfair to those, that its illegal. Thats complete b.s, not being able to marry someone of the same sex because thats ILLEGAL. if anything, being racist should be illegal. that would do more good than having gay marriages banned, because its not right to some people. But the thing is, a few people who are probably homophobic, or are "taught" its wrong, shouldn't decide the future of gay people! How about they decide the future of those who are being taught its wrong? How would they like having their future of love destroyed?? now that is not RIGHT. |

FanForever, if you say people are born that way, and you say that they shouldn't be able to marry, then what you are saying is that legal discrimination (discrimination incacted through law) is right and THAT I cannot ever agree with.
