What are some of Aaliyah's underrated songs? I think that "I Refuse" AND "I Care 4 U" are underrated...

"I refuse" - Now thats an amazingly sung song and the lryics and melody blow me away.
Yet i never hear anyone mention it!!! Thats one of my all time favourite liyah songs....as shown in my sig ;D
Also, "i care 4 u" needs more love. Again, the lyrics and liyah's voice are beautiful!
"choosey lover"....another liyah classic for me. SO underrated!

I agree with all those songs! DKWTTY and Come Over are too. atleast where I am. She barely EVER gets played. But i love how I Miss You got some mad air time on my fave radio station  She kept comin in at number one! |

Where I live "I Care 4 U" and "Come over" STILL get a lot of air play. Anyway I think the underrated Aaliyah songs are: Hot like fire, What if, I refuse, A girl like you and It's whatever.

I would say that her most underrated songs would have to be "I Refuse", "Choosey Lover", & "I Care 4 U". People didn't really see how beautiful those songs were.

I refuse is definitely underrated. It is one of my favorite aaliyah songs. I think it provokes a lot of images in my mind, it tells the most emotional story ever done by Aaliyah imo. The music is epic , the lyrics are dramatic, and her delivery is pure magic. It is like a mini movie , but in song. I always picture the music video being of her in a big medival castle, with rain and lighting all around. Her in their acting out certain scenes with her man , while we see her also looking on to the situation. And at the end she escapes on a horse drawn carriage. OMG that vision of the video just freaked me out. Just thinking she leaving the situation in a horse drawn carriage like she left us in one  . |
